If you no longer wish to continue using the COSORI App, you may use this page to request deletion of your COSORI App account and the personal data directly associated with that account.
This page applies to users who have created an account in the COSORI App. You do not need to download the App again or log back into the App in order to submit a deletion request through this page.
1. Before You Submit a Deletion Request
Once your account is deleted, you will no longer be able to use some or all services associated with that account, including but not limited to:
- logging in to and using your COSORI App account;
- viewing and managing devices already linked to that account;
- using device linking, device management, and remote control features associated with that account;
- viewing favorites, preferences, and certain history associated with that account;
- receiving service notifications associated with that account; and
- continuing to access certain feedback records and service records associated with that account.
Account deletion is generally irreversible. Once deletion is completed, if you wish to use the relevant services again, you will generally need to register a new account and link your devices again.
If you only want to stop receiving notifications, log out, unlink a device, or disable a specific feature, you may first adjust the relevant settings in the App instead of deleting your entire account.
Please note that logging out, uninstalling the App, turning off notifications, or unlinking a single device does not mean that your account has been deleted.
2. How We Handle Your Data After Deletion
Within 10 days after we receive your deletion request and complete identity verification, we will delete or de-identify the following data directly associated with your account:
- core account data;
- device linking relationships;
- access tokens and related session access capabilities; and
- feedback attachments you voluntarily submitted, such as screenshots, images, videos, or log attachments.
Log data is retained only to the minimum extent necessary for security auditing, troubleshooting, and compliance recordkeeping. The default retention period is 10 days.
For backup data, we generally do not perform immediate deletion of individual records. Instead, such data is automatically eliminated in accordance with the backup lifecycle. If backup data is used in system recovery, we will re-apply the relevant deletion tasks to ensure that data that has already been deleted does not re-enter the active environment.
3. What Data May Not Be Deleted Immediately
To the extent permitted or required by applicable law, some information may not be deleted immediately. For example:
- information that must be retained under applicable law;
- information necessary for security, audit, dispute handling, or anti-fraud obligations; and
- information temporarily stored in backup copies.
Where this applies, we will continue to retain the relevant information only to the minimum extent necessary and, where applicable, continue to apply appropriate protection measures.
4. Before Submitting Your Request, Please Confirm That You Understand:
- this request will be used to delete your COSORI App account and related personal data;
- once deletion is completed, some services, content, and records may not be recoverable; and
- we may not be able to begin formally processing your request until identity verification is completed.

6. Identity Verification
To protect the security of your account, we may ask you to complete necessary identity verification before processing your deletion request, for example by receiving a verification code or confirmation email through the email address associated with your account.
If we are unable to reasonably verify your identity, or if there are restrictions under applicable law, we may not be able to process your request immediately and will explain the reason to you within the scope required by applicable law.
7. Processing Time
We will process your account deletion request within 10 days after receiving your request and completing identity verification.
If identity verification is incomplete, if there is a dispute, if legal obligations apply, if system security requires additional handling, or if other circumstances permitted by law require delay, the processing period may be extended accordingly.
Where applicable, we may use the contact details you provided when submitting the request to inform you about verification steps or the processing status.
